Welcome to Maebird Handmade!

Maebird Handmade is a new name for a not-so-new venture. I have been making jewelry since I was a kid (my Elementary School French teacher was one of my first customers!). While the materials have changed and the technique has improved, the passion for creating bold and unique accessories with love is the same! 

Polymer Clay is my main medium at the moment, but I also love to paint, knit, stitch, and craft all kinds of other things that just might show up in this space too. If you are looking for something specific, feel free to reach out to talk about custom orders too!

CUSTOM Shelfies!!!

They're Finally Here!

Totally Customized shelfie earrings!

Order your own perfect pair of tiny bookshelf earrings! You decide on the shape, colour scheme, and all those magical little details that show your personality. The base price for ALL shelfies is $30 CAD, that only changes if there is significantly more or less detail (and therefore time) than a typical pair.

How to Order:

1. E-mail hello@saramaedafoe.com with the subject CUSTOM SHELFIES. 

2. When you receive my reply, there will be a questionnaire for you to fill out and return indicating your design preferences.

3. Once the design info is submitted, I'll let you know an estimated timeline for completion and shipping (if applicable) and if it all sounds good to you we will proceed to payment.

4. You have two options for payment for your custom shelfies; you can pay 50% of the total cost upon placing your order and the remaining 50% upon completion. OR, you can pay the full amount upfront. At this point, e-transfer will be the easiest method of payment but I am working on building this option into my website, hopefully ready soon.
